Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning at a Savannah hotel lobby after allegedly becoming aggressive when a bystander refused to give him a cigarette. The 31-year-old was taken into custody by the Savannah Police Department after reportedly using profanities and vulgar language in the presence of women and children.
According to police reports, LaBeouf refused to leave the area and became irate toward an officer before attempting to avoid arrest by running into the hotel. He was later detained and released after posting a $7,000 bond.
The incident marks another run-in with the law for the “Holes” and “Transformers” star, who has faced similar charges in the past.
